Original ScrapBox Gives Back -You Can Give Too!

Happy December - The Month of Giving!

We at The Original ScrapBox wanted to let you all know about an opportunity where you could make a HUGE difference in the lives of women, children and families all the way across the world in Africa. We support a Non Profit Organization: Safe Mother, Safe Babies that is making a difference in rural Uganda, but they can't do it alone. They need your help!

"Every year, more than 360 thousand women and 3 million babies die during childbirth, while millions more are injured. The causes of maternal and neonatal death are largely preventable if women can access timely and appropriate medical care. Yet, in developing countries like Uganda, such care is lacking. Safe Mothers, Safe Babies (SAFE) seeks to improve these conditions through demand-driven, collaborative, sustainable, and scalable means... The Safe Mothers, Safe Babies Holiday Gift Catalog, Gift of Life, provides an opportunity for individuals to join SAFE in  working with rural Ugandan women and their families to give the “gift of life,” while simultaneously checking some holiday shopping purchases off the to-do list. For each purchase, you can designate an individual who the gift has been purchased to honor. SAFE will then send them a personalized thank you card, detailing the life-saving gift you made on their behalf and all that it will accomplish."

Giveaway Details:
So what we want YOU all to do is take a look at their holiday gift catalog and tell us in the Google Doc below which project is your favorite and you will be entered into The Original ScrapBox Gives Back Giveaway, where the winner we randomly select can choose between a Black or White CraftBox ($945 value) OR an EZ View Desk ($695 value).

  18. My granddaughter has been to other poor countries and helped with missionary work for people and told us about it and what they do. She has been to guatamala and to costa rica to help with some of her christian high school class and her christian college class. She loved it and she said the people in these poor countries really appreciate their help.
