To enter, submit a video and/or picture of your cat, dog, friends, kids, yourself or other items with your Original ScrapBox that will show how much your ScrapBox is loved! If you don't have a ScrapBox, you can get creative and use pictures or your crafting skills to show us how much you *would* love your ScrapBox if you had one!

Submitting these to us signifies that you give The Original ScrapBox permission to use these images and videos as we deem appropriate. Submit videos (clips no longer than 1 minute) and pictures to (see Rafflecopter for email address). Submissions will be verified for accurate entry.

No purchase is necessary. Purchases will not increase your chance of winning.Please read these terms and conditions before entering The Original ScrapBox WorkTop - 20k celebration giveaway By submitting an entry, you are confirming that you agree to these terms and are bound to the terms and conditions of this giveaway. First off, THANK YOU all so much for taking the time to read the Safe Mothers, Safe Babies GIFT OF LIFE gift catalog and for entering The Original ScrapBox Gives Back - You Can Too giveaway this past week. Entries have been pouring in since we posted and your comments were heart warming! The founder of Safe Mother, Safe Babies, Jacqueline Cutts has read ALL your comments and she was overwhelmed with your kind words and support! She emailed and called and wanted to say THANK YOU to you all for taking the time to comment and to those who donated or who will still donate.

Note: Jacqui and some volunteers leave today on their long journey to Uganda. We will post an update later on their work this Christmas season to bring hope and light to the people in Uganda. (Read more about the LIGHT THE NIGHT initiative here).

Now, there can only be one winner and we used random.org to generate a random winner from the over 200 entries we received in the last 6 days.

We just called the winner KELLY WILBUR and she was overjoyed to win (she informed me she has never won anything before) and she has chosen the Vanilla Beadboard CraftBox! Happy December - The Month of Giving!

We at The Original ScrapBox wanted to let you all know about an opportunity where you could make a HUGE difference in the lives of women, children and families all the way across the world in Africa. We support a Non Profit Organization: Safe Mother, Safe Babies that is making a difference in rural Uganda, but they can't do it alone. They need your help!

"Every year, more than 360 thousand women and 3 million babies die during childbirth, while millions more are injured. The causes of maternal and neonatal death are largely preventable if women can access timely and appropriate medical care. Yet, in developing countries like Uganda, such care is lacking. Safe Mothers, Safe Babies (SAFE) seeks to improve these conditions through demand-driven, collaborative, sustainable, and scalable means... The Safe Mothers, Safe Babies Holiday Gift Catalog, Gift of Life, provides an opportunity for individuals to join SAFE in working with rural Ugandan women and their families to give the “gift of life,” while simultaneously checking some holiday shopping purchases off the to-do list. For each purchase, you can designate an individual who the gift has been purchased to honor. SAFE will then send them a personalized thank you card, detailing the life-saving gift you made on their behalf and all that it will accomplish."

It's Friday Friday and that means Fan Friday!

If you are reading this you are probably hoping you are this weeks Fan Friday winner. Maybe it is, and maybe it isn't. But what we wanted to do it try something new.
Instead of randomly picking a fan from Facebook each week, from now on we will be monitoring fan INTERACTION!

We will track those that are good participators and TRUE fans! And we are not looking for quantity but quality & creativity!!!

A true fan may do the following types of things:

Comment on posts we make
Post their thoughts or ideas on our wall
Answer other customers questions
Post appropriate pictures of their ScrapBoxes on our page
SHARE posts (there is a "share" button under each post you can share easily)

Or any other fun and creative idea you may come up with

So at our last show in Portland, OREGON, we started something new.... we bought a whiteboard and asked those who visited our booth to write something about The Original ScrapBox and then we took a picture of them. When we returned to our offices in Utah, we posted all 16 pictures we took on Facebook and our 13,000 fans on our page had the opportunity to vote on their favorite picture.

We decided this was such a fun idea, that we are going to continue doing this for our remaining 3 shows of the year (see list here) AND during our 24 scheduled shows next year (list coming soon)!

About a year ago, I put a picture of the Workbox (in vanilla beadboard, my favorite) on my phone as my screensaver. I also put the same picture on my laptop. I cannot count the number of times that I have shown that picture to others, but it would probably number in the hundreds. Of course, they are always amazed just like I am. I am firmly convined that the Workbox is THE best craft storage option available. Everytime I look at my screensaver, it strengthens my goal to own a Workbox someday soon. I have been saving a little bit out of each paycheck for several months now and soon I will own one. Then I will start saving for the EZ View desk. Thank you for making such quality products and I will keep spreading the word.
